It was in college that I started venturing in graphic design and digital art. I joined my undergraduate’s literature magazine as their first Art Editor and was able to introduce visual art into the magazine as well as revamp the magazine’s entire style and direction. As the years proceeded I found clubs and organizations needing t-shirt design, poster design, and logo design. Graphic design is clean and I find it gratifying to balance aesthetics and function. For now, I am not a believer in art for art’s sake. I find graphic design, illustration, and typography to be almost meditative in that what you literally see is their literal utility, and their utility is only revealed during the act of being seen.
