To commemorate<\/span>\u00a0the end of medical school, I compiled a playlist of ultimate celebration! Encompassing the gamut of medical student experience, I tried to include songs that\u00a0represented the joy of saving patient’s lives, the tragedy of losing people, the misery\u00a0of\u00a0late night studying, the dirge\u00a0of night calls, the weight of\u00a0gargantuan loans, the exhilaration<\/span>\u00a0of science, the bitterness of health care reality, and the hope of doing what we were made to do.<\/p>\n As I was compiling the playlist, I was actually surprised to see how many songs about relationships use metaphors or allegories about health, science, and medicine. I\u00a0found some really great songs, although I’ll admit one or two of them may be\u00a0tenuously<\/span> related to medicine!
