My hand dips in\r\nthe Autumn stream\u2014\r\n    cold calor\u2014\r\n    viscosity of whispers\u2014\r\n    scintillating macules over\r\n    a thin slide of smooth stones\r\n\r\nUnder these\r\npines of gold\r\nand green\u2014 further\r\nup the hill, I see her\r\nwalking the path\r\nto the mountain\u2014 I rise\r\nto follow\r\n\r\nand let my fingers dry\r\nby the wind of the woods\u2014\r\n    velocity of lines\u2014\r\n    anatomy of angles\u2014\r\n    evaporating atoms escape\r\n    the epidermal\r\n\r\nAlong rocky\r\npeaks\u2014 I step behind\r\nher\u2014 crunching\r\nleaves\u2014 cracking red\r\ntouching bark\u2014\r\nblack and wet\u2014 and\r\nI follow\r\n\r\nA hand held still\u2014\r\n    in contemplation\u2014\r\n    forgets direction\r\n    and the science of the flow\u2014\r\nbut senses the relief\u2014\r\n    the impression of a hole\u2014\r\n    and the Godly current in\r\n    the serous soul\r\n<\/pre>\n
